Taormina & Isola Bella

Stage 1 – Departure from Messina

The tour starts from Messina, the ancient "gateway to Sicily" and a city steeped in history and legend. From here, we'll begin a scenic drive along the coast, overlooking the sea and the typical landscapes of eastern Sicily, towards Taormina and Isola Bella.

Stage 2 – Panoramic view of Isola Bella

Before reaching Taormina, a stop is planned at an exclusive panoramic point, ideal for admiring and photographing the famous Beautiful Island (Isola Bella), a nature reserve nestled between the coast and the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea.

Stage 3 – Taormina

Arrived at Taormina we'll pass through the historic Porta Catania arch to immerse ourselves in the heart of the historic center. The visit includes the opportunity to explore the magnificent Greek Theatre of Taormina (ticket not included), famous for its scenic location overlooking Etna and the sea.

We continue with the Florence Trevelyan Public Garden, an elegant green oasis with an exotic charm, and with a stroll along Corso Umberto, the city's ancient decumanus, among boutiques, cafes and alleys rich in history.

Stage 4 – Isola Bella and free time

After the visit of Taormina, the tour continues towards Beautiful Island, located at the foot of the city and connected to the mainland by a thin strip of sand. This protected nature reserve offers clear waters and rocky shores, ideal for swimming or relaxing surrounded by nature. It's recommended to bring water shoes, a swimsuit, and a beach towel to fully enjoy your time there.

Stage 5 – Return to Messina

After the visit, we will return to Messina. Weather permitting, it will be possible to visit the historic center and the bell tower of the Messina Cathedral, which houses one of the largest and most complex mechanical and astronomical clocks in Europe. At the end of the day, return to the starting point with the memory of a complete experience, combining culture, sea, and unforgettable landscapes.
